Job Description

As an Interior Designer at Cava Interior Design Studio, you will be at the forefront of creating luxury residential spaces that define modern Kolkata living. We are looking for a creative visionary with 2-5 years of experience who can blend high-end aesthetics with technical precision. You will be responsible for taking projects from conceptual stages through to final execution, ensuring that every detail aligns with our client's aspirations and our studio's standards of excellence.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands the nuances of modular furniture, luxury materials, and spatial psychology, and can translate these into breathable, living masterpieces.

Mandatory Skills

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and V-Ray/3ds Max
  • Expertise in Photoshop and Mood Board creation
  • Strong knowledge of modular kitchen and wardrobe design
  • Technical drafting (GFC) and detailed BOQ preparation
  • Excellent client communication and presentation skills
  • In-depth knowledge of luxury materials, finishes, and hardware
  • Problem-solving skills for on-site execution challenges
  • Project management and vendor coordination

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize and develop design themes, mood boards, and layouts for premium residential projects.
  • Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D visualizations, and technical drafting for execution.
  • Lead client meetings to understand requirements and present design solutions with conviction.
  • Select and specify materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting that align with the luxury brand voice.
  • Coordinate with the execution and site teams to ensure design intent is maintained during construction.
  • Prepare accurate Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and manage project timelines effectively.
  • Research and stay current with global interior design trends and local market innovations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and quality control for custom-made furniture and decor items.
